ivy & oak

by far, my FAVORITE wedding venue in North Georgia… and here’s why

this venue is a newly renovated 1930’s estate situated at the foothills of the beautiful north georgia mountains.

Think: Open beamed ceilings, spacious dance floor, indoor AND outdoor ceremony spaces, AND a bridal house that will leave you completely breathless! There is hardly a corner at Ivy & Oak that isn’t picturesque!

as a preferred vendor for ivy and oak, i have had the amazing opportunity to get to know the staff and the venue- inside and out.

so, here are just a few reasons why i love ivy & oak so much!

  1. the owners aka.. the magic makers

Meet Matt and Lacey Reins- the guardian angels to your wedding day that you didn’t even know you needed. Aren’t they the cutest?? They are a husband-and-wife duo that have completely mastered the art of bringing your wedding vision to life.

From the moment you book with them, you are in the best hands possible. Both Lacey and Matt care immensely about the service they provide and promise to their couples. Hell or highwater will not stop your wedding day from being the most magical and memorable day of your life- not if they have anything to do with it!

They have figured out how to ensure a seamless and stress-free wedding day for every single one of their couples. Trust me, I have worked over 30 weddings/events at Ivy and Oak and I have yet to see a single couple leave there unhappy. It just doesn’t happen!

2. bridal house built in the 1930’s? yes, please!

As soon as you arrive at Ivy & Oak you will see the gorgeous historic bridal house that is a statement all on its own.

This two-story early 20th century home may look like a southern historical landmark on the outside, but on the inside, you feel like you have been transported into a gorgeous bridal parlor equipped with everything a bride would need on her wedding day- truly it’s every bride’s dream! Did someone say, ‘mimosa bar’??

A lot of the wedding venues I have worked at only provide the bride and her bridal party one room to get ready in, but at Ivy and Oak you don’t have to worry about the lack of space. You have access to four bedrooms, two-bathrooms, two living rooms, a kitchen, and a bridal salon; allowing you and your gals to get pampered and prepped for your big day in comfort and luxury. Not to mention, the bridal house can be rented for overnight stays- whether that’s the night before your wedding, the night of your wedding- or the whole weekend!

And don’t get me started on The Blue Room in the Bridal House. It’s a photographer’s dream for bridal portraits!

The Blue Room

1 of 3 upstairs bedrooms available to you

Bridal Salon complete with 3 makeup stations and sitting area.

The cutest kitchen- perfect for a bridal brunch

3. never a dull recepetion

Have you ever attended a wedding and immediately after dinner is served you are ready to bounce? I know I have. Of course, you don’t want that to be the case for your wedding day and luckily, at Ivy & Oak, it just doesn’t happen.

Like I said before, I have worked countless weddings here, and I can honestly say- they have FUN! If your dream reception consists of an awesome DJ and a packed dance floor- Ivy & Oak has your back. Their staff is working around the clock to make sure you are able to be 100% present in your celebration, worry-free. Cake cutting, bouquet tosses, champagne toast- all of it is already coordinated, you just have to show up and enjoy yourself! Take a look at some of the fun I have witnessed at Ivy and Oak receptions!
